ServiceNow That Actually Works for Local Government
Most ServiceNow environments are overbuilt, underused, and more expensive than they should be.
You’re paying for things you don’t use, running workflows that do too much,
and relying on manual work that should have been automated years ago.
I can fix that.

What I Do
Cut waste in licensing and contracts
I’ll show you exactly what you’re paying for, what you’re not using, and where you can push back before your next renewal.
Simplify and refactor workflows
I remove unnecessary complexity, reduce transaction volume, and make your system faster and cheaper to run.
Automate manual processes
If people are still doing it by hand, it’s a problem. I turn repetitive work into reliable automation—especially onboarding, approvals, and service requests.
Build onboarding that actually works
I fully automate onboarding across systems like Active Directory and Workday – so new hires aren’t waiting on access, accounts, or equipment.
Automate across any system with APIs
I design and implement API-based integrations to connect ServiceNow with the tools you already use—so data flows correctly and work doesn’t get duplicated.
Design portals people will actually use
Most service portals are clunky and confusing. I build clean, simple experiences that reduce errors and cut down on support tickets.
Fix over-permissioned access
I tighten roles, clean up API accounts, and reduce unnecessary access—without breaking what’s already working.
Built for Local Government
I work in real-world government environments – tight budgets, slow approvals, legacy decisions, and systems that have grown messy over time.
I don’t rebuild everything. I fix what matters, remove what doesn’t, and leave you with something your team can actually maintain.
Strategy + Execution
I don’t just point out problems. I help you make the right calls – and then I implement them.
About Rachael
I spent 9 years as a ServiceNow Developer with Multnomah County, building and improving systems in a real local government environment.
I’ve also been an active part of the broader ServiceNow community – leading a quarterly local government user group where teams across agencies connect, share challenges, and learn from each other.
Now, as I transition into retirement, I consult part-time doing the work I enjoy most: simplifying overbuilt systems, automating what should have been automated, and helping teams get more value out of what they already have.
Outside of work, I spend my time traveling, hiking, reading, crafting, and attending Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC matches.
